Leki Rubber Tips

What can you say about tips? They fit tight and have good grip on pavement. I like them.

Must have tip

The Leki Micro Vario poles I bought came with stock translucent protective caps that fit over the carbide tip. These quieted the poles on roads but wore so quickly I had no expectation that they would last more than a few weeks of light walking. The Leki Rubber Tips are a great improvement over the originals. I think Leki should just package these rubber tips with the poles and forget the cheaper flimsy ones that come with the pole. The replacement rubber tips give a great feel to the pole on roads and moderately rough paths saving the carbide tips for rocky trails.

trekking tips

I wore out the original equipment tips on my Outdoor Trekking Poles in only a few walks, so ordered several pairs of Leki tips. They add more spring to the walk, and seem to be holding up well.
