Great lightweight guyline for my tarp/bug net combo. Being strong and lightweight allows me to bring more line on my backpacking adventures. Found out about this line on Andrew Skurka's website.

Took 2 tries to get the waist size but the large works. The medium fit better in hips/legs but waist was too tight. Since I will slip on over layer it's fine with wiggle room. Features are good. Will see how breathable once I wear them.

Good, strong cord that doesn't tangle or fray. I keep this in my camper for staking tarps and tents.

it works for what it was designed for. I even use it for deck lines on kayak. I wish it came in different colors though.

I have replaced all of my guylines with this, I can't tell you how many times I or someone else has wrecked my tent, rain cover, and tarp setups by tripping over my old lines in the dark. This prevents that. The reflective line is highly visible in the dark. While on the AT, there were a couple of times that we had small tent "cities" set up near shelters. Although I have common favorite tent that many other hikers have, I could always spot mine due to the reflective cords. (this comes in handy to prevent slipping into the wrong tent and sleeping bag!) I also use this line on lots of items that I would like to spot easily if dropped in the dark.

I purchased this line because it only weights 1 oz for 50 ft and its reflective.

The cord is too thin. Not very good for guylines.

Kelty Triptease Lightline
If you spend a lot of time camping outdoors in a tent, you should add the Kelty Triptease Lightline to your gear. There will always be situations you may encounter outside, where a lightweight line is needed to attach things. This lightline is durable and tightly woven and is strong enough for any tent set up in the wild. The cord is reflective for added safety and security, so you can be seen at night in the woods. The cord is ideally designed as a guy out cord, to attach to tents and portable shades securely. To use it, simply attach the line through the guy out loops of the tent and then attach it to stakes or to the nearest tree for extra support. If you ever need a good, strong and reflective line to bring with you on a camping expedition, go ahead and purchase the Kelty Triptease Lightline.
