Got to try it out on a week-long trip in the Smokies last week. It rained off and on all day one day of the trek, but the pack cover performed flawlessly. I like the way it securely attaches to the pack. I recently purchased a pack cover from another company that was advertised to fit this size pack (105 L), but it did not come close to fitting. The Kelty pack cover is true to size and works just like it should.

I haven't actually used it on the trail yet. Next backpack trip a few mo's away...I got this after my cover failed last summer on a 9 day trip with 7 days of rain and hail. I have wetted it to verify it is waterproof--it is! And, importantly, it is large and fairly unfitted so versatile over my external pack. Before ordering this cover, I checked our local outdoor gear stores--all rain covers were narrow and fitted for internal frame packs. I'm converting to external for comfort and fit, so appreciate this large cover.

It's a rain cover and does what it should. It's light enough, easily packable, and fits the Coyote 105. Haven't tested it in the rain yet, but I'm confident it will be fine.

Bought this when I bought my new Kelty backpack and used it for the first time the other day. I got caught out in the woods in a thunder, hai and downpour situation. I put the rain cover on my pack and it kept the pack dry!
