New design has reduced usefulness.

When I bought my first Agave 10 years ago, it was the perfect pack for travel and hiking. It fit neatly and precisely under airline seats, even pretty well stuffed, yet had a sufficient suspension system to handle 15+ pound loads comfortably hiking in the mountains. In particular, it had a substantial waist belt which has been replaced in this new design with a thin webbing strap. The shoulder straps also seem to be less robust, but the difference was much less than the waist belt. When I found a seam separating and a hole worn through my old Agave, I ordered this new one on line, not having seen it in person, so I was surprised at the design change which rendered it less useful to me and I returned it. This meant the loss of the initial shipping cost as well as the return shipping cost.but that's on me for ordering from Sunny Sports without adequate research beforehand about either the pack or the return policy. Lesson learned, I'll shop for my replacement pack at REI or Amazon.
