Gave one as a gift. Works just fine. I boiled some piping hot tea in it the first time and while it smelled briefly of plastic, that dissipated and the tea tasted fine. Lid stays on, unlike the offering of another manufacturer's that I tried. Wouldn't pay full price for it, but on sale, sure thing!

When every ounce counts, this cup is barely noticeable in your pack. The insulation works great too - coffee stays warm for a very long time, even in cold temps.
