This product is not difficult to inflate. it just takes a little time and skill. There is a video on the company website and YouTube that offers technique advice on using the built-in pump. It is tricky, but once you learn it--it works well. Once inflated--this is one comfortable mattress. I really think I am going to get a lot of use out of this. I have slept on it several times and once went through the whole night without having to get up. Amazing.
