This is actually my second Eureka tent. They make a reliable product that is well priced and competitive with higher end tents. When I saw Eureka had a 3-person tent (my first is a 2-person tent, which more or less, is suitable for one with storage for gear but one of my favorites), I figured I'd give in and check out the Amari Pass 3. I can't say I've taken this on the trail yet, but I did put it together to see what I was working with. Whoever put this together had some great ideas when they came up with this tent, especially when it came to planning for the airflow going through the tent. For the pros: -Weighs in at about 6.5lbs -Vents allow for excellent airflow(they built in poles to prop open the vents and allow for the maximum amount of airflow) -Easy to assemble: one person assembly in <5mins -Color coded corner to get rain fly on correctly And the negatives: -Not a 3 person tent by any means. -Some of the stitching looks a little shoddy where the zipper is -Only one entrance This tent at best is a 2 person tent. Any gear would more than likely be stored under the rain fly. The biggest downfall to the tent is the one entrance in and out of the tent. On the flip side, the entrance isn't positioned on the side of the tent like most traditional tents, so you wouldn't be tripping over someone in the middle of the night.

It's been to the Tetons and the Colorado Rockies. Plenty of room for two people but I think 3 would be crowded. Good Headroom and nice design.

Backpacked in the Tetons, rated as a 3 person tent, I slept alone, 2 wouldn't be bad, 3 would be tight. I had to work to get it back into its bag. But the tent was just what I was looking for, would get the same one again, will modify the storage bag.
