I have enjoyed the tent up until the pole for the screened in porch broke. I can't seem to find a way to buy a replacement pole. The website lists the diameter of replacement poles but I don't see the length of poles anywhere. Any help would be appreciated since I would like to keep this tent, but without this pole it is rendered useless.

During a torrential downpour that lasted over 2 hrs it didn't leak a drop

A good tent with a relatively small weight (and this is important in hikes). We took it for festivals, on the last day there was a 3-4 hour downpour, the awning withstood it perfectly, nothing inside got wet. very easy to assemble I recommend it! A great tent, easy to assemble and disassemble!

I love this tent! I've had it for years now and it's held up well against so much. Lots of rain and wind and I never felt worried or had any leaks. It's easy to carry around and gets good air with the screen placement. It is hard to set up unless you have at least 2 people, but I'm really short so I always struggle

Decent family tent. Sleeps 4 very comfortably with room to spare. Have only tested it in the backyard but have set it up and broken it down twice. Setup is easy enough as a one person operation. Second person is nice to have just to make sure the poles are staying where you want them, but not required

This tent kept us dry during heavy rain and snow and held up against 30mph wind gusts like a champ! After the first two set ups, assembly has been a breeze! It takes us about 20 minutes total including laying out the tarp to go underneath. This is a very spacious tent. With the 6 person there's plenty of room for my husband and I, our dog, queen mattress, table, chairs, cooler, and multiple bags. Last camping trip we had ants on our rain fly, but they never made it inside our tent! Did a great job of keeping out mosquitoes as well. It can be a little difficult fitting the tent back in the bag, but if you're really diligent about folding it up neatly to the size of the poles, then it will fit no problem!

Ventilation is very good even here in Florida. Durability is amazing, with 2 dogs and a toddler. It's kinda weather resistant, if it's raining and blowing sideways you will have water inside of tent. There is enough space inside of the tent for storage capacity.

This was used for my son's first cub scout camping trip and I love the amount of space. I can almost stand up right (I'm 6 ft), which is something that surprised me a lot. I love the little front porch and and set up is easy with two people. It's a little tricky trying to thread the poles with one person. When we got home to set it up to air out, a cord in one of the poles came dislodged and I was able to rig it for now, but plan to call customer service to see about a replacement since it was on my first use. Fingers crossed.

Its so perfectly easy to set up. I love the porch and the extra layer of debuggifying.... having another room to walk into makes it feel more like home!

The screened in porch area is lovely to have the kids take their shoes off and not drag mud and dirt into the tent. There's plenty of room for our 4 person family.

I?ve used this in Sequoia National Park, Lake Arrowhead, and in the San Diego Area multiple times. 2 people and 1 large dog. I?m 5?10 and can stand in the center. Plenty of room for a queen mattress, bedside table large dog and lots of extra room for clothes and gear. We especially like the screened porch where we fit 2 Tommy Bahamas (Costco beach chairs to lounge in without worrying about bugs, we also use it to keep boots/shoes etc. outside of the main tent area.

It's a great size and the biggest test I have ever had it was relatively easy to set up and it is very small and compact

The wife wanted a bigger tent. This is bigger than we need, but works fine. A design flaw is that the "screen porch" is not protected from rain or snow, and when the wind blows it acts as a wind sock. Generally, we only car camp when the weather is good, so usually no problems. One night, though, the whole tent nearly blew away with us in it.

I really like the tent. It keep you dry when it rains hard. Plenty of room. the only thing that I'm disappointed about is no rain fly for the screen room. It rain in the screen room then you track the water into the main part of the tent. I have camped in the Adirondacks Mountains and Prince William Forrest in VA both times pouring down rain kept dry except the screen room.

Pulled out the tent I stored outside in cold Minnesota winter. All three of the longer poles? elastic was broken. They were fine last fall. WTH!

I have owned this tent for about 5 years, it has been on numerous camping and hunting trips and it has been a great tent for me. I am now in the process of looking for a new tent as this one is getting some wear on it and the zipper on the door is getting harder to zip since it is failing due to my dog pushing through it once in the middle of the night. The door now stays partially open when the dog comes camping to not have this happen again. There are so many options for tents out there that it is hard to chose what to get. First thing to keep in mind is this tent is not designed to keep you warm, but more to keep you dry and keep the bugs off of you. My advice for anyone that buys this tent is to go and buy a cheap blue tarp to put over the top of it if you really want to expand the capabilities of this tent. The storage bag is big enough to hold the tarp and the tent and you would be amazed as to what that extra layer does. I have had this tent with the tarp over it, with almost a foot of snow fall during elk season and with the addition of my Mr. Heater, I stayed comfortably warm at night. This is a $125 tent and although that can be a lot to some people, it is a good price for a tent of this size and with the addition of a $25 tarp you are going to have a decent tent for most. Another trick to limit air flow into the tent is leave the pole out of the rain fly that is provided and secure the ground ties on the backside of the rain fly as close to the base of the tent as possible. This will keep that big gaping hole on the back of the tent that is just mesh, covered for the most part. I do like the screened porch as it helps keep you from tracking dirt, mud and snow into the main part of the tent and it allows an extra layer to keep the mosquitoes and other flying bugs out in the summer. You can sit under it to keep the sun off or bugs away from you, but it won?t do much as far as keeping you real dry if it is snowing or raining. This tent sets up very quickly once you do it a couple of times and it can be done with one person. Tear down is simple and like I stated above, everything fits easily back into the bag. This tent is somewhat heavy so I wouldn?t suggest taking it to far away from you vehicle if you don?t have too. This is a 6 man tent, but I like things to be roomy and comfortable. I have two sleeping arrangements that I go with and that is either two cots or one air mattress. My suggestion for a family of four would be to get a bigger tent if possible. When I take my two kids camping and they don?t have a family members camper to sleep in, I take my 10 man tent so we aren?t piled on top of each other. Besides the addition of the tarp over the tent for cooler weather and climates, I would also suggest getting bigger tent stakes which is with a lot of tents. This will help secure things better and the rain fly on this tent could be like a parachute if the wind came in from the right direction. Good luck in your search for a tent.

Plenty of room for myself and gear. It took longer than preferred to set up by myself, but not impossible. LOVE the front ?porch?. Other reviews state that it gets wet with wet weather, well duh, that?s because the fly doesn?t extend very far over. My remedy was a pop up over the front. I was still able to access the porch area, stay dry and had extra sunshade.

I liked the tent, the screen room is great but only if it doesnt rain. During the rain, it collects puddles, a good option would be for a rain cover attachment

I bought this tent to go camping with my four-year-old grandson to Myrtle Beach. I only had a queen size mattress which had to be centered in the main part of a tent. Due to the angle of the side walls, it was hard to get around the mattress. I have recently bought two single cots to use against the side walls. This allows more room to move about the main cabin. I was rather disappointed find that Coleman, being the tent manufacturer they are, neglected to put a pass-through for an electric cord. I guess it must be time to go solar. We did not get caught in any rain, so far, but thanks to everyone for the warning, I'll be sure to take a tarp with me next time.

Bought this tent when my daughter was only 3 yrs old and now she is 9. I still have the tent and use it every year. If I could give it a 10 star, I would because it held through a rain storm with wind guss of 30-35 mph. Once in awhile I will get water inside the tent through seems but nothing much to worry about. All i had to do was apply some water resistant on it.

I have had this tent for 8 years and I use it every year. I am a very short woman and I can put it up by myself in about 10 minutes. It has great space and has always stayed dry, through heavy rain and high winds. I agree with the review that says it should also have a fly to cover the screened porch. I love it and I will buy another if I need to replace it in the future.

We took this tent to the UP of Michigan. We had some pretty bad weather. The temp at night dropped to 39°F. We had 4 people in the tent and stayed plenty warm. It also rained, and there were high winds. The tent remained dry inside, and I was never worried about the tent collapsing or blowing away in the wind. We didn't even have the tie downs staked up, which would have made it a lot stronger. Definitely didnt need it. Buy this tent. Its a great tent. The screened area will get wet. But thats okay because there is a nice mesh drain in the floor by the entrance. If that bothers you a lot, get the dome tent without the screen.

I first used this tent in the Adirondacks with mixed weather conditions. The main room of the tent stayed dry in steady rain and fog. The screen porch area could be really nice and could have multiple uses only if the was fly was removable and big enough to cover it (I used a tarp.) Without the tarp, the rain would collect and “puddle” on the screen area floor. With the temps into the low 40’s, my buddy heater did a great job keeping the tent warm with plenty of ventilation. I was also surprised how well it held up to wind. Overall this tent is great and very comfortable and I can deal with taking a tarp for not so nice weather to use for the screen room.

On one camping trip last year, we had one day when it poured rain all day. The only place where we had a few drops of water was where we had hung a power cord on the side of the tent. The next day, we had continuous 25-35MPH wind. While the tent moved constantly, it stayed fixed and secure. The vestibule is the perfect place to keep wet and dirty items although it did turn into a bit of a lake during the rain storm. We're very happy with this tent!

Bought this for my family of 4. Fits two single self inflatable mattresses and well as a queen inflatable with some room for storage. Well ventilated, and while it can be put up with one person, two make it so much more easy. We've spent a total of 4 three day stays in it. So far it's holding up just fine. We camped in the Okefenokee in GA, and ended up getting .75 inch of rain in a little over an hour. It really came down. Inside stayed bone dry. Don't let the covered canopy fool you. While it keeps the bugs up and provides a nice place to sit, it offers no real rain protection (to be fair its not advertised that it does. Perfect starter tent for a family. We love ours.

I have only one con about this tent. I would love to have an option of getting a rain fly for the screened area section. If it rains you cannot use this area to store anything due to raining in and puddling on the floor. We have otherwise enjoyed this tent and have used it for over 6 yrs now.
