Excellent, but a little small
I wanted the tips for installation on my second pair of polls so I could use them indoors. These work fine, but they don't have great adhesion on terrazzo or other very smooth floors and they are a little more noisy than I'd hoped. It would be nice if they were a little wider and softer. With that minor caveat, I recommend them.

Wear out fast
Started using them 25 May & by mid June had to change as they were worn out! Mind you I hike 3 to 4 miles per day...

Original tips way too tight.
It took three people many tries to get the original tips off. Once removed all was well. Two hours of frustration! The original ones were on way too tight. The tips work well.

Good quality. Perfect fit for the correct poles.
No slipping on paved surfaces as had happened with the metal tips. These appear to be very durable.

Just completed 5 days hiking trails of mixed sand and hard surfaces in south Utah. The tips are in great shape. Ready for more trails.

Availability of replacement tips
The tips on my Leki carbon walking-sticks wore out, and it was pleasing that I was able to locate replacement tips at a reasonable price.

Great Alternative to Accelerated Erosion
I purchased 4 pairs of these for my girl friend and myself before hiking out to Utah because I read that the standard tips damage sand/lime stone. The have a decent grip not exceptional, but as good as you could reasonably want.
While at Zion National Park a local came up to us on the trail and asked about our tips and if there were covered. I proudly responded that they were in fact rubber tips and they were not damaging the soft stone. She appreciated the prior research.

Great tips for gripping ground. Bought a set to have as extras. Easy to change out.

Great grip and wear
O.E. For my BD Alpine cork carbon poles. Easy to replace and lock in place and do not come loose. Concave design grips great on rocks and even with wear work well. Great product and design
